the city swarms around me like 
a thousand fireflies   
i move through them 
like a ghost
without cover 
let them fill my 
emptiness
with light 
and the black sky glimmers
and i move through the strets 
like a ghost
awake and dreaming 
of more wakeful nights
and mornings
more light everywhere 
of windows 
big and sunlit 
with wooden windowsills
where i can sit 
and watch the city
waken
